We had a terrific time at Gunflint Pines Resort, stayed In Cabin 6 with two couples and a dog and loved it. With fresh snow we enjoyed incredible X/C skiing and snowshoeing. You cannot beat Gunflint Lake in the winter, feels like you are living in a Postcard.

Sherrie and Sandy are amazing. Especially with all the extras they do for us. My rabbit sits on my couch and a smile comes out whenever I see it. I hope I can make many more trips to Gunflint and wherever I can no longer be able my girls and family and friends will keep coming. Thanks for everything. Luv Bunny and all the Bunnies too

We stayed in camper cabin 20, with room for 6. Very clean. Dogs are allowed. A small heater had been left by the owner, in case it got too cold. Overnight it was in the 50's, but plenty warm in the cabin without the heater. Very nice owners, and a well-stocked grocery and convenience store. Wood was available at a reasonable price for use in the firepit or grill. The bathrooms and bathhouse were c... We stayed in camper cabin 20, with room for 6. Very clean. Dogs are allowed. The bathrooms and bathhouse were conveniently located in the center of the camper cabins area. Beautiful area in the northern-most part of Minnesota, and only a short distance to Canada. Enjoyed the stay!!

I stayed at Gunflint Pines Resort w/ my family for a long weekend getaway. We stayed in Cottage 7. While Cottage 7 appeared clean when we first got there, it was obvious that it had a mice issue. While Cottage 7 appeared clean when we first got there, it was obvious that it had a mice issue. There were a few mice droppings on the pillow in the primary room, but that was all we noticed. We were still excited for the weekend, so we brushed it off and changed pillows and moved on. That was until the next night when my mom found more mice droppings in the bathroom and utensil drawer in the kitchen (EW!). Additionally, while she was in the bathroom, an actual mouse sneaked through the bathroom door and ran away. Overall, we had to cut the long weekend short by a day because it was just not sanitary. My dad tried to get reimbursed for the last day (since we were leaving early) and the lady in the main office basically said "Well, its that time of year for mice." ?????? So we were not offered any kind of reimbursement for having to leave early due to unsanitary conditions. I would not recommend Gunflint Pines to people looking to stay in cabins on the Gunflint Trail. While I understand that having mice and other animals can be a problem for places like this, it should be actively addressed because Cottage 7 was truly disgusting. The only reason I gave this resort 1 star is for the location on Gunflint Lake.
