Former MH park converted to RCV Campground. Wide open grassy spot. Lauri was very helpful and accomodating. No amenities. $35. Stayed a week. But super quiet in the evenings. 200' to Root River Bike Trail. Easy Walking (1/2 mile) distance to town. The towns along the trail are great places to visit.Relatively easy car distance to 3 of Laura Ingalls homes. Very enjoyable time.

Check was easy. We ended up with truck problems but they worked with us when we let them know we would be a day late. Beautiful views. Loved the nice protected bay. Thank you for a great stay as we continue our tradition of visiting a new lake every year.

Great camp ground with full hookups. Very quiet and well maintained. Gravel or paved spots with picnic tables and grassy areas, if you have a boat there are docks on site. Very friendly staff

We stayed for 5 days at Rainy Lake and it was clean and well-ordered. The pad we had was just barely long enough for our Class A motorhome and tow car. Unless you have a boat, there are no amenities to speak of. Oh, and a small playground for young kids. If you do have a boat, there is a boat launch with access to the lake. The only negative thing is poor connectivity to cell service... at best, I could get perhaps 1-3 Mb/s but more often it was zero. The RV park had wifi and, when it worked, it was quite good. But it was up and down all the time, so, a bit frustrating since it was our only way of connecting. There was a porta-potty near us (which we never used), picnic table and fire pit, but otherwise no bathroom, shower or laundry. Would I stay there again? Yes! The owners were very nice and the place was spotless, and a long pad with full-hookup is all we need anyway.
