CG is in town, so grocery store, hardware, gas stations, restaurants and bars are within 2 blocks. Very convenient. Full hookup, but the power riser has 50-amp and 20-amp sockets. We stayed for 5 days at Rainy Lake and it was clean and well-ordered. The pad we had was just barely long enough for our Class A motorhome and tow car. The gravel was thick but it was soft underneath the gravel so our leveling pads sank a few inches, but overall not a big deal. Good water/sewer/electric without any issues. Unless you have a boat, there are no amenities to speak of. Oh, and a small... We stayed for 5 days at Rainy Lake and it was clean and well-ordered. Unless you have a boat, there are no amenities to speak of. Oh, and a small playground for young kids. If you do have a boat, there is a boat launch with access to the lake. The only negative thing is poor connectivity to cell service... at best, I could get perhaps 1-3 Mb/s but more often it was zero. The RV park had wifi and, when it worked, it was quite good. But it was up and down all the time, so, a bit frustrating since it was our only way of connecting. There was a porta-potty near us (which we never used), picnic table and fire pit, but otherwise no bathroom, shower or laundry. Would I stay there again? Yes! The owners were very nice and the place was spotless, and a long pad with full-hookup is all we need anyway.

My two boys and I stayed here at the end of July. It is a beautiful campground within biking distance of Ranier and International Falls. It is also close to Voyageurs National park. They boy enjoyed playing in the bay and with the water toys provided. It is an awesome spot to launch your fishing trip into Rainy Lake with a boat launch and slip included.
