Its my absolute favorite place but recently they have been closing a lot of trails and making some of them four lane high ways and the people there are not as easy going anymore because of those things I have considered not coming back

I always like going to zumbro. They have a lot of trails and typically not much for bugs. Trails are well maintained but can be a bit rocky in a few spots. If this is your first time going there, you cannot get a pass online. You have to go to any store in Minnesota that sells fishing licenses. Since it's not electric, there are no designated parking spots, but plenty of camping is available in the main campground. They also have nice tie lines, or you can put up a portable pen for your horses. There are a couple outhouses and water hydrants available. Also, it is very unlikely you'll get any cell service at the campground but you will get it out on the trails. They have two other smaller camping areas which all have tie lines, old houses and water available. Happy riding!

If you like camping but like the convince of electricity and water hook up this is not the place for you then as it does not have that, however it does have 4 bathroom and 4 or 5 different watering stations where you can get water to water you horse. Pricing for camping per night is fair for what you get, but as for the way you have to pay now that's a little bit confusing having to pay online now. At least it was for me I couldn't get it to work. They do still offer mail in payment options as well which are located on big brown welcome sigh/map as your pulling into camp.
