I love it that it is not mainstreamed so we always get a spot, it’s low key and yet plenty of trails and stuff to do. When we were here we saw turtles, fireflies, fox, deer and bunnies.

Did a little early spring camping & absolutely fell in love with this little campground & the area. So peaceful. Lake still had ice when we were up, so we skated around in our boots & could hear the ice expanding late in the night, which was pretty cool. Few vault toilets & water pumps are available. Definitely will be making a few trips during the summer.

Wow, this is a hidden gem. Beautiful spot, well maintained. Some secluded campsites. Near to, but far enough away from the atv trails. Danbury's few restaurants and groceries are reasonably close by. In the fall, the leaves are gorgeous. And there's a lake. Nice spot.

Great secluded campground for exploring OHV trails in the area. Be sure to bring a way to secure your trash and food. I found bear tracks nearby. Only 4 stars because it was difficult to pay for the campsite and there were no wildlife proof dumpsters when I was there.
