Winnie Dam Campground offers a serene escape into Minnesota's natural landscape, providing RV campers with direct access to the beautiful waters and woodlands surrounding the dam area. As a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers facility, this public campground maintains the reliable quality and accessibility that government-managed parks are known for, making it an excellent choice for both seasoned RV travelers and families new to camping.

The campground's location provides a wonderful gateway to exploring Minnesota's outdoor recreation opportunities. For those traveling with family, the campground serves as a comfortable base for exploring the region. The Minnesota North Woods offers plenty of opportunities for hiking, wildlife watching, and nature photography. Our family had a BLAST! The kids loved being able to walk around the while campground, and of course the playground area. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly.

Beautiful small campground with spacious and immaculately maintained sites. Electricity, fire pit with adjustable grill, and picnic table at every site, water at several spigots around the campground, free dump station, friendly host. Nice vault toilets separate from great shower building. Firewood available about 2 miles away at Ken’s Greenhouse or Winnie Trading Post on Rte 46.

This is a great campground! Site are big and spaced far apart! Bathrooms are very clean and newer, you have to get door code from campground host so only campers can use them! I can not find a down side here!

Another win with this ACOE campground, although make sure you go to Winni Dam campground and not Winni campground. We went to Winni campground and there was no electric hookups, it was near dark when we figured we were at the wrong campground... long drive around the lake.
