$30 a night to sleep outdoors next to a sewage treatment plant is ridiculous. Smell is bad. Locals in pickups drive through to check in on you at all hours of the day and night. Literally just drive the loop and leave immediately. What’s up with that?? Dumpster is overflowing because non-campers constantly drive through to dump stuff in it. At least the facilities were clean.

Decent campground however I would not recommend reserving lot 8, lot 8 is right next to the dumpsters and septic dump station. Other campers are very rude in the very early morning slamming car doors and dumpster lids, and do keep in mind the water access is public so people coming and going all day until 10 pm, should be a private water access since it costs money to camp.

City of Aitkin takes nice care of the park on the river here. Just wish the area was a little more SXS and Wheeler Friendly

This is a gem of a little park! Quiet, nice spacious sites. It’s reserve or first come first serve. $20 with water and electric, you can’t go wrong! Very well maintained with dump station.

I love this Campground. I have yet to enjoy the many features of this Campground but from the short walk through and observation of the rules, I find myself looking forward to exploring the many features this Campground has to offer.
