Piepenburg County Park

Beautiful, peaceful campground! Pulled into site #24 on Friday afternoon. Bathrooms are clean. Two issues: 1. electrical and water hookup on site #24 are 39’ away from the closest point in the parking pad we could go. We ended up going into town to get another 25’ 30 amp cord. 2. This was our first time at this campground. The host was really friendly. It rained in the morning so all the woods we purchased from the campground were a bit wet. One of the neighbor came over with their dry woods to help us start up. If you like fishing, this lake is filled with northern pikes and walleye. Not too many bass not sun fish, at least not from shore. Pros: - clean bathrooms - frien... This was our first time at this campground. The host was really friendly. I had to stand in the shower with my 4 years old as she was too short for the sensor - lots of geese poop! - lots of mosquitoes!
