My family has been going to Jellystone Park Warrens since my sisters and I were babies. We're all 25+ now and continue to have very fond memories of camping here. We went for the Oct. 3 Halloween weekend this year, enjoying sharing this childhood experience with new family members. The weekend was well planned, we enjoyed the site decorating, trick or treating, haunted house, and exploring what has changed over the years. The only thing that disappointed us right at the end, was the fees for late check out. We had a tent site, and all it stated in the the terms and conditions was "Prompt departures allow us to get each site clean and ready for the next guest.". We didn't think this would be an issue as we were the only tent site camping there that weekend. This was until I got a notice that my card had been charged a $25 "Late Check-Out 4pm (RV Site)" fee. Strange that we got this fee as a tent site. Looking through the Terms & Conditions we got at the online check-in, and the extra policies on the website, there was no information provided that stated the existence of a late check out fee for tent sites. I had gone through the Terms & Conditions document multiple times leading up to our vacation, as we had first timers coming with us and I wanted to be sure we had updated information about the park for them. If there had been any information about late check out, we would have thought about this in advance and planned for it. It is very disappointing that my card was automatically charged for this, when the information of the fees existence does not seem to exist anywhere. We do plan to continue coming to this park, but I would recommend people ask about things they could be charged for, and that the park updates their Terms & Conditions document to include potential fees.

Stayed 2 years in a row here. $85 a night was not bad for what you all got but still had to pay for park brackets. Whatever.. Went to book again for the same non-holiday weekend for 2026 and it’s OVER $120/night and you still have to pay for park bracelets! Also, they charge you another $35 to secure the actual site you pick out.. Absolutely nuts. Will not go back here. Fun while it lasted but pr... I was so excited to book a long extended weekend here for me and my 3 kids. Until I was going through check out and there was a occupancy fee of 170.00!!!! At no point is there occupancy fee stated on the website. I'm using my own camper, not a cabin. Then I started looking into it more and there are fees for everything else you want to do. Pricing here is ridicules, Ill never camp here.

We had a great stay! Our cabin was clean and well-maintained. The cabin had a kitchen that had everything we needed to prepare food during our stay. The water park has a lot of capacity for all the visitors. Some water park features could use maintenance but it didn't affect the fun that the kids had.

We had a great time in the pools, on the slides, and the beach/swimming pond area was a definite favorite for us all as we could all swim, play in the sand, and just relax while the kids played. We were a little disappointed with the lazy river and the family hot tub, the jets were not working, but we enjoyed the heated pools instead. Overall we had a great stay and we are already looking forward to booking another visit next summer.

Winter is an interesting time to be camping anywhere in South Dakota but this park was nice despite being snowed in for a day! The park roads were cleared quickly making it easy for us to leave when we were ready. I'm sure without the snow in spring and summer it is a lovely place to stay and play!

This is an RV park, not a hotel. They had pretty level gravel sites with full hookups and big rig pull thrus. We didn't use any of their facilities. Management was very nice and accommodating. We would stay here again and recommend it to everyone. If you're a full-timer and use South Dakota for your address, the new DMV is located just down the road from this park. So easy to get to. Be sure to make an appointment first as we had to wait over 3 hours to renew our licenses.

This is a very clean and great place for kids. They have daily activity schedules a great pool plenty of grassy eras. Safe for the kids to ride bike. Only downfall is some highway noise but not enough to keep you up. Weekly rates are very affordable.

We stayed here for 4 days in August 2025. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but there are multiple areas for improvement the park can focus on. Since our dogs names are Yogi and Bear, that's always fun here, lol. First the good: heated pool, fun 9 hole mini golf, jumping pad (although not fully inflated), dog park (although not centrally located), lots of play areas for the kids including multiple playgrounds and play areas. The bad (many maintenance issues): potholes / mud on the roads in the campground, poorly trimmed trees that hit your RV as you exit, few "dogi pot" stations through the park (for pet waste), a poorly filtered pool (not clear and gravel in the pool). We did not see a hot tub. The roads are poorly designed in this park as there is no way to easily access the front of your RV due to sites being in the way - site 401 needs to be eliminated and made into a road - or the road needs to be connected (see red in image) - and the same for site 201. Also, and this isn't the campground's fault, but our site become a mud pit right where we exit our RV because some previous camper put a rug on the grass and killed it. They did add gravel though, at our request, to help to address the issue. Staff was all friendly.
