Camden State Park is one of my absolute favorite State Parks in Minnesota. I think it's shocking that it's not busier and more popular! There is a fantastic swimming hole which is a great opportunity to cool off during the Summer months. The river flowing through the park is beautiful, and there's an awesome bridge and pathways through a lot of the park. I haven't done much hiking here, but there'... A fantastic state park in southwest MN! Hiking club trail is just right with some small up and down hills and great views (in the woods and prarie). Lower campground has spots very close together. Rangers at the station... A fantastic state park in southwest MN! We're staying at the upper campground and the spaces are a little more private up there. Lower campground has spots very close together. Rangers at the station were very nice and got us checked in quick. Only downside I would say is at the dump, only one water fill station for two separate campgrounds.
