I really wish I could have given this place a better rating. We arrived and the TWO campground hosts were very helpful. Our power was not working and they helped us find our breaker box. Everything was locked but one shower room. We as... I really wish I could have given this place a better rating. We arrived and the TWO campground hosts were very helpful. There are two bathhouses and one other bathroom. Everything was locked but one shower room. We asked for the bathhouse nearest us to be unlocked and they told us the ranger told them to lock them. We had already asked the ranger, who said it was up to the camp hosts. They did unlock it, but in the two weeks of our stay, it was never cleaned. We supplied our own hand soap, as well. They leaked, as well. During showers, the drains didn't drain well. When it rained on our last night, water was everywhere inside. Another thing: the ants were everywhere. I know, it's Mississippi, but it was nuts. There was trash here and there, all over the place, that never got picked up. Two campground hosts who never seemed to do anything. The only work I saw occurred the day before we left (before it rained), the "other Mike" host (they were both named Mike) affixed his leaf blower to the back of his wheelie-cart and drove around the campground, blowing leaves off the road. People would regularly drive into the campground and dump garbage in the dumpsters, or drive around the campground, stopping to use the bathhouse, and then would drive away again. The toilets in the men's side of the bathhouse would be backed up with feces that we did not deposit. My husband would walk to the far bathhouse shower room because of this. And my son (6) used the ladies side with me. The park was gorgeous. That's nature for you.

Nice park. Very clean and well maintained. It was very quiet, not many visitors. Most sites appear to be level. We were at site #45 and it was perfect! Upon arrival you will find that there is no office to check in at. You just go to your site. I called the office and chatted with Amber to confirm this. She was very nice and helpful.

Waited out the storm for some fun fishing. Water rose about 4 foot while there. Tomorrow they may have water in the campground.

This is a great park, very clean and quiet. The rv spaces are nice and big. I was in 49 and it was a pill through, level pad. If you have a longer trailer you might want to call ahead. Mine is 41’ and I wasn’t able to back in to my original spot (45).
