Recently stayed there with the family, kids really enjoyed the playground and the room to roam on their bikes. Toilets are nice and clean. The shower house is extremely impressive. The kids loved it and can't wait to go back. Murray and Cricket are great hosts. We will be back in the future.

My family and I stayed here because our campsite we rented at Pultite was closed down do to flooding. When we first pulled in one of the owners, Cricket, came to welcome us. We had a camper and 2 tents. We paid for the camper site but she didn’t charge us for the tents. They brought us 2 picnic tables and a fire ring. They gave us firewood for free. We were welcomed later by Murray. He was extreme... My family and I stayed here because our campsite we rented at Pultite was closed down do to flooding. He was extremely nice and told us about the layout of their land and what all they have planned. They are in the process of setting up their campground but do have water and electric camper sites available as well as nice places for tents. There is a playground, which my daughter loved. Easy access to places like Akers Ferry, Devils Well, Pultite and Echo Bluffs. We will definitely be back and we can’t wait to see how their vision turns out with their campground.

Stayed there during memorial day weekend, great central location for several river spots, showers inside of the conex were very clean, and the outdoor shower was handy for the kid's shoes and to rinse off the pups, the kids enjoyed the playground equipment . Pictures and description matched the campground.

Do not stay at Anderson Akers RV campground. Their campground doesn’t match their website pictures. It is nothing more than a rock quarry. Large sharp rocks cover the entire site . Worst campground ever!!! Can’t believe they can get away with being so dishonest with their website description. Their shower house was a shipping container with an outside shower. Their customer service was also horrib... Do not stay at Anderson Akers RV campground. Their campground doesn’t match their website pictures. It is nothing more than a rock quarry. Set perfect between Akers and Pulltite. 5 miles from echo bluff and probably 3 to current river state park. Right off the blacktop on highway 19. Great sites with hook ups and awesome tent camping.
