BEST place to stay!!!! Must stay, must stop of Missouri!!!!! Not only are the grounds beautiful and peaceful and have great horse and RV amenities but the owners of these grounds could not be nicer! My trailer ended up breaking an axel while I was en route to this campground. I called Kelly, who runs Lazy Liz Katy Trail Horse & Campgrounds and who I had never met before at 6am on a Sunday and she... BEST place to stay!!!! Must stay, must stop of Missouri!!!!! Not only are the grounds beautiful and peaceful and have great horse and RV amenities but the owners of these grounds could not be nicer! My trailer ended up breaking an axel while I was en route to this campground. I called Kelly, who runs Lazy Liz Katy Trail Horse & Campgrounds and who I had never met before at 6am on a Sunday and she was there with her trailer to pick up my horses within 30 minutes while I took my trailer to town to fix. Out of this world amazing experience! Not to mention the other guests that were at these grounds were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Everyone around here was so helpful and nice and made a stressful situation with a breakdown an absolute ease. Once my trailer got fixed I even decided to stay another day while moving across country with all my animals because I had such a wonderful experience here!!! There are multiple showers and even an outdoor shower with a view to your horses!!! Must stay, must stop of Missouri!!!! I will be back every time I cross this state from here on out!!!

I stayed for one night on a whim while solo traveling in my car and my experience was great! There is an honesty box to drop your cash payment (which is very affordable). I watched the sunset from the outdoor shower which was so lovely. An indoor shower and toilet is also provided in the bathhouse. The property is spacious and beautiful with a little pond and barn. Lazy Liz Horse and RV Campground was an Outstanding Place to Camp during my Ride on the Katy Trail. The quiet and serene country farm setting with amenities such as a climate-controlled Shower house, free laundry facilities, clean water, and electricity nearby, and friendly neighbors made my stay a memorable one!
