Review done July 5th, 2025 Camping spot: That being said, the grounds are beautiful. The spaces are nicely laid out with pretty level paved areas for your camper. There is a nicely bricked in eating area with a nice picnic table and fire ring with a grilling platform. The picnic table in our spot was a composite material, very durable. The electrical and water were right at the corner of the paved surface and easy to access. There is ample parking for 2 vehicles with your camper. Bathrooms/Showers: There needs to be more restrooms in the grounds. The one that was available to use was on the other section we were staying, so at night, we walked. It's a little bit of a walk from site 26, bring a light. There isn't much lighting through the grounds, which is nice for camping but makes it hard to see when there is full tree coverage. The bathrooms and showers are very well kept. There are no soap dispensers, so bring soap to wash hands. There is running water, very clean, and no strange odors (unless someone's insides didn't agree with dinner). Overall, I am pleased with the bathrooms and showers. Boat docks: There are boat launch areas and docks right off the grounds, so if you have the need to camp and be close to your boat, this is a huge convenience. I'm not sure if it's an additional cost or not. There is also a place to eat right off of the boat docks as well so if you'd like to change it up from cooking your own food just off the waters edge there's a place to eat. I would happily stay here again. I've added some photos from the grounds to show what I could. I hope this helps in your decision. Happy camping.

We had a rocky start, but it turned out perfect. We had a rocky start, but it turned out perfect. (37 ft travel trailer with 20 ft truck) We had gotten on the road a little late due to some mechanical issues, but planned to dump tanks when we got here. We decided to scope out our site; very tight road, downhill with lots of trees to get to our site! After we got there, didn't see water hook ups like I thought we had, so we backed up to fill our tank up. Then decided to go dump our tanks, which we discovered that the dump station was out of order. So, we had to drive 20 minutes up the road to a different campground to dump, with tight, curvy, windy, hilly, dark roads! Finally once we got settled that night, things were getting better. Next morning, we discovered the water spigot on the side of the electric pole (this was new to us). Additionally, we ended up not having any neighbors on either side of us or on any of the sights in front of us due to flooding. So we were blessed with a perfect view with a perfect spot to put in our kayaks, and a quiet campground. I really like the setup of the sites, there is a nice 2 tier patio with table and fire pit, with large retaining wall around the pad, which for us, created a great spot to cook food. All in all, despite the heat, it ended up being a great week.

My husband and I booked a camp spot here on our roadtrip west. The campground is laid out nicely. We took a swim in there nice swim area to cool down. There bathroom facilities are very clean and the showers had great water pressure. We had a nice dinner on the restaurant down by the docks. We got to put on our Missouri sticker here. 😁Definitely recommend.

Good spacing between sites. Quiet campground. Water and sewer only but there is a dump station on the way out. Would stay here again.
