A washer and then a dryer quit halfway through the cycle costing me extra money to switch machines and start again. Yes I would recommend this Koa.

We picked this RV resort even though it is 45 minutes away from everything in St Louis because they advertise having a fun jumping pad, gem mining, basketball court and bikes to rent. We picked this RV resort even though it is 45 minutes away from everything in St Louis because they advertise having a fun jumping pad, gem mining, basketball court and bikes to rent. The pool was obviously closed because it’s December and cooler at night. Unfortunately they also close gem mining AND the jumping pad for the season. They don’t explain this on their website and the kids were super upset. (The temperatures are in the 60’s at night and 70’s during the day.) 🤷‍♀️ Walked the whole property and never see anything that looks like a basketball court. We finally try to at least rent the bikes for the kids at 4:10pm. The woman tells my husband that they close at 5pm so there isn’t enough time. For a 30 minute bike rental. lol. We cut our losses and left a day early. They definitely need to update when things are open and closed. It would have been super helpful! I gave two stars because when we were leaving they offered to refund $50 since we were heading out early which was super nice!

Overall, we had a good experience in our one night stay at this campground. Bathroom is very clean and well maintained. Note that location less ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet. You could hear all the noise from speeding vehicles from busy road. In addition, it’s near train tracks. The trains didn’t bother us in the early evening but Saturday morning, the train came at around... Overall, we had a good experience in our one night stay at this campground. The trains didn’t bother us in the early evening but Saturday morning, the train came at around 7:30am and I’ve got no doubt it would have startled us from our sleep if we were not awake yet.

Great stop on our way back to Chicago from Dallas. Fantastic location, easy to navigate in the dark during our after-hours arrival. Our lofted cabin was fantastic! Beds were super comfy and the cabin had all kinds of nice little perks. Already talking to my siblings about our next family camping trip!

Great location with access to so many places! Bathrooms and Kozy Kabin were spotless! I can't thank the staff enough for having the heat already on in the Kabin prior to my arrival! Campground was well maintained and lots or area to walk any furry friends. Would definitely recommend this campground and can't wait to come back!
