This is a free campground in the Lewis and Clark National Forest. The access road to it is smooth dirt and gravel once you leave the paved road. The final mile is bumpy so a slower speed is required. The campground has three large sites that can accommodate all size RVs. Each site has a picnic table and a metal fire ring with a swing-away grill. There is a vault toilet nearby. Across from the site... This is a free campground in the Lewis and Clark National Forest. The access road to it is smooth dirt and gravel once you leave the paved road. This area has several trails that are used by foot, ATV or horse. Horse corrals and hitching posts are near the campground entrance. The elevation is around 6,085 feet. In mid to late summer, cattle may be roaming about as this is a grazing permit area. There is no water available and no trash pickup, so bring your water and take your trash out when you leave. This area has elk, bears, coyotes and mountain lions. Hunting is permitted in season. It is a beautiful area and you can stay here up to 16 days.

Nice big campground lots of room to maneuver your ATV trailer for turning around in the campground. Very nice looking countryside this spot is popular with many elk hunters.

A couple spots for large vehicles. Toilets, tables and fire pits. The day I was there it was very hot and tons of biting flies. Good shade though.
