We are LITERALLY the only people here and yet you charge us $70/night because you know there's nowhere close for us to go. The showers/restrooms are closed. The water to the sink is shut off. You're still charging full price and giving us NONE of the amenities that come with that price. And to have a young girl be the face that has to tell people that... You should be ashamed of yourself for charging that much for a 15'×15' tent site, even during peak season. We wanted to bring the whole family out here next summer but this will be our last visit. You are greedy, disgusting people.

The owner is honest and will do her best so you have a pleasurable experience However getting there is an adventure and you may tear your vehicle or RV to shreds. The dirt/gravel road is probably THE WORST road in the state of Montana. The forest service is supposedly responsible for grading the road. Whatever priority they put on that is another story. I guess they're waiting for enough complaints before they act. If this same road was located in Big Sky you can bet the road would be nice and groomed ! Update 9/1/2035 Just before the Labor Day weekend, either the Resort or the Forestry Service (unlikely) groomed the road to the resort. It is much safer to drive your RV to the Resort now. It would have been nice if this was done in early July instead of the end of the season !

This place is amazing. So peaceful. The front desk was so nice on check in and whenever we needed something. Bathrooms were clean and the showers were awesome. We were right by the lake. So beautiful. The road can be a little rough but just call and see which way to take and go about 25-30 mph on it and it’s not to bad. It definitely worth it.

DO. NOT. GO!!! This RV ‘Resort’ is a hoax. The “best” road is 5.5 miles of the worst rutted/washboard dirt & gravel road I’ve ever been on. (Longer, main road adds potholes!!!). (Longer, main road adds potholes!!!). There is NO “good” speed. Tried 5-6 mph in and 10 - 15 mph out much lower than thier recommended 20-25 mph, which would have been flat out dangerous with 2-way traffic coming around blind corners! Strongly object to fantasy description of “resort”. Only 30 amp service. Forget recreation or a pool - Water from taps is light brown (!). Site F9 was very hard to back into with just a 27’ trailer. Can’t sit on wood deck at sunset - too many mosquitoes (which are VERY prevalent in the only open bathroom on-site. (One the two stalls, you have to be a double amputee to use on of them!) They ARE only 9 miles from the west gate - but those 5.5 dirt miles were HARD! We did back to the lake - but found out swimming wasn’t allowed. It was quiet- except for the two dogs next door that howled non-stop if their owners left. Excellent AT&T and Verizon reception- but WAY TOO Expensive for what you get and the unavoidable damage to your coach! STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

We booked a site at Madison Valley Campground less than 12 hours in advance and couldn’t have been happier. The process was smooth and hassle-free, and we ended up with a quiet, cozy, and intimate spot. Everything was simple—no fuss checking in or out. A perfect, peaceful stay.

Great little campground with excellent communication from owner accommodating dates and adding a couple of days to our adventures. Cleanest bath and laundry areas we have ever had while camping. Little things like motion sensing lights coming on as soon as you step on sidewalk made our stay even better.

Spacious spots, nice grass area w/picnic table. Easy in & out. Great communication. Quiet & peaceful. Laundry clean & priced great. The only negative was the sprinklers going at 7:15 am & spraying the RV. Made it challenging to get pups out for morning potty. Maybe have them run at night or a little earlier. Would definitely stay again.

While the location was great, there were a couple of issues during our stay. The shower I used didn’t drain well and there was about 1/4” of water on a very slippery tiled floor which felt unsafe to me. It was a very short walk into town to shop or go to a restaurant.

The showers/bathrooms are very nice for a RV park and the laundry was an added bonus. We also enjoyed the short walk to the downtown shops and amenities. My only recommendation is our wooden picnic table was in poor condition and the sprinklers that go off nightly/early morning soak the wood so it’s wet most of the day and so you can’t sit on it. Some of the sites had plastic picnic tables and would be much better to dry off and use. Would recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay.
