Absolutely loved this campground. Peaceful campsites with well maintained table and fire pit. Clear cool Hyalite Creek babbles in the background.

Sites 10, 1, 2, 3, 4 are in the middle and on the edge of a cliff. Nice view of the river but a very steep access. The other sites are all flat and have grassy spaces for tents. I would’ve booked a different site. All the others are great and right on the river. No bugs, very quiet and peaceful river sounds, bathrooms very clean no smell, and the water was working. Paved road all the way. Nicely tucked away in the woods. For us it was a stopping point so we stayed only one night, which worked out fine.

Nice place to camp. Some sites are very close to each other, which isnt great for tenting, but there are some very good sites to tuck your tent back in.

Not much different than other forestry campground except it's $30 and they have dumpsters, no water stations or dump stations. For $10-$20 you can get get full hookups at any other forest campground. For free-$5 you can get what this place offers, elsewhere. Also it appears someone lives here longterm. There's an abandoned trailer with trashed furniture on it in the parking lot. There's a c... For free-$5 you can get what this place offers, elsewhere. Also it appears someone lives here longterm. There's an abandoned trailer with trashed furniture on it in the parking lot. There's a campsite that's packed as tight as it can be with junk - most campgrounds, even the free, wouldn't allow that. This is my least favorite Campground I've stayed in Montana - there's a pretty creek running through, but every campground has that in this state.
