If it wasn't for the highway noise I would have given 5 stars. Very nice campground, shaded. We had a pull through, full hook up site with the option to stay longer if needed. Staff was kind enough to help and accommodate our stay as our truck broke down while we were heading home. I would stay again. Lots to do in the area. Stores and gas stations close by not to mention repair shop not too far.

This was a decent campground for an overnight stay with all of the amenities--water, sewer, electric, showers, etc. It could use a facelift as the playground equipment is quite old, but it is adequate for what you need, and the price was right. The bathrooms were very clean as were the showers (although the showers and the changing area were a bit small). I'd stay here again.

Stopped here on our way to Estes Park. It was exactly what we needed for the night. It didn’t seem too busy tent wise, we were able to pick our spot. We chose the area closest to the interstate. It was a little nosier than expected but didn’t interfere with sleep at all. Our site was level, we didn’t have any problem finding somewhere for the tent. Our picnic table was clean. The bathrooms were so nice. They were very clean & although i didn’t use the showers, they were the nicest i’ve ever seen at a campground. We didn’t use the pool but it looked clean & someone was cleaning it first thing the next morning. Unlikely that we’d ever be back in the area but if we were we would definitely stop here again!

We pass through North Platte several times each year and our stay last night was our first and unfortunately, our last. I have no complaints about the noise from I-80 or the $57.05 nightly charge. I was aware of those in advance. My issue is with the management. The office message machine says they are open until 5pm. We called multiple times and left a voice mail and there was no return call... We pass through North Platte several times each year and our stay last night was our first and unfortunately, our last. We called multiple times and left a voice mail and there was no return call. We then booked online well before 5pm. Upon arrival at 7pm, there were several envelopes for late check ins, but not for us. So obviously, no one was checking messages or the online booking. After arrival, we called the number posted and we were informed which row to park in. After leveling and getting set up, the power did not function at all. We moved to the site next door. All worked well at the new site. We chose to use the bathroom on site for showers. My wife had a warm (not hot) shower and mine never got warm at all. Even that was not a deal breaker, but the bathroom was simply dirty. Glad we wear shower shoes! Having run my own small business for 30 years, my strong recommendation to the management is to pay more attention to the details and add your cell number to the answering machine message if you are away from the office.
