10/1/2021 - Nice quiet park. Camping area is very clean and well maintained. Short hike to lake. Water level down so offered a nice sand beach to walk around. Typical litter on beach. Beware of broken glass as well. Worth while to take a small bag on your walk if you with to pick up some litter on your journey. Also, not all dog owners keep their dog on a leash or tied up. Luckily they were friend... Luckily they were friendly. Encountered tent camping on the beach during our stay. Parties drive and park their cars on beach as well. I really found this annoying as it takes away from the experience of enjoying the lake. I feel they should pay $30 fee to encourage camping in a designates area as driving on the beach shows obvious signs of contributing to erosion. Needless to say other area of the park prohibit parking on the grass.

They just opened the camp area when we arrived. Loved the site by the water. Visit the lighthouse, but the signs were missing. We looked online to find the information about the lighthouse. Loved it. Definitely stop here again.

The water was low, but very beautiful. A lighthouse you can hike up!
