During a recent journey with my wife from California to Idaho, we stopped at the KOA in Verdi, NV—and it turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of our trip. Nestled just above the Truckee River, the view alone was breathtaking. But what truly stood out was the care and hospitality we experienced. The facilities were spotless—bathrooms and showers cleaned hourly, which genuinely impressed us. The RV sites were level, well-maintained, and reflected the same attention to detail as the rest of the park. Every corner felt thoughtfully cared for. The staff welcomed us with warmth and kindness, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Having Boomtown Casino within walking distance was a pleasant bonus, adding a touch of entertainment to an already peaceful stop. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who helps keep this KOA running so beautifully. It was more than just a stop—it was a place of rest, comfort, and genuine hospitality. Thank you for making our stay exceptional.

Nice, easy access pull through. Walking distance to Boomtown Casino which is very nice. I think there are some full time residents with kids. Well behaved but active on their bikes etc so keep an extra eagle eye when moving your big rig. Staff were very helpful.

My husband had to move our trailer and these wonderful people helped him to manage that. They adjusted his reservation by adding days and then giving us a refund when we left a day early. There are a lot of nice people out there and you can find some of them at this KOA!! Also... The laundry room is clean with 6 washers and 6 dryers. Very clean with money exchange machine for quarters. Right down the hill from the casino. One thing negative is that they keep the campground very brightly lit at night making it hard to sleep. Thanks KOA employees for really helping this older traveling couple.

This campground was super nice! The restrooms and showers were top notch and the site was easy to get in and out of. We had a really nice view of the valley beside it and got to watch a train come through! I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the Reno area!!💯

We stayed one night, pull through site, clean. We did not have to disconnect our toad. Site wasnt level but we were able to get level with our leveling system. Nightlights throughout park. Nearby fuel and food. Paved sites. Dinged one star because I would like to pay less. We werent able to take advantage of the park's benefits.
