The only issue was all sites are under mostly pine trees which are very beautiful, until we realized the Pine trees were dripping pine pitch all over the camper and our vehicle. It also got all over our shoes. We went to the store and got some Goo Gone which did clean most of it up, we then covered what we could with table cloths and extra coverings we had in the camper. It was a bit disappointing. The site looks like it had not been raked or cleaned in some time. I'm giving 3 stars because it wasn't the best experience but everyone was nice , it was a quiet place, and close to attractions.

Stayed there 1 night while traveling home. Only place I could get a reservation. As per the sign, it opened in 1964 - don't think they've done much upgrading since then. Bathrooms were old & very outdated. Had to pay for showers. OK but at least have a coin machine that doesn't take forever to figure out. Sink faucet was loose, was afraid pipe would break & could only wash one hand at a time, other had to hold the faucet down to get water. 3 toilet stalls, 1 had no lock. 2nd had a hook that was too short - couldn't latch door, 3rd had a hook that was too long - couldn't latch door!! I figured about $2.00 in hardware would have fixed all 3 doors!! Way too many rules - hubby & I BOTH had to sign 2 pages of rules & regs - what about the owners taking responsibility on having decent restroom facilities!!

I spent a week here. Staff and common places were nice and clean. Our camping site was even and spacious. It's better during the week, you may have rude neighbors making a lot of noise during busy days (weekend). Train racks are close, so if you are a light-sleeper (like me) it will wake you up three times during the nigh time. It's not really the campsite's fault.

We have never been to Exeter before and were very impressed with the town. It was fun going into the shops, restaurants and bakeries. We were also close to several historical buildings. The campground was a short drive or bike ride to all this and it was clean. That is always my favorite part. The clean bathrooms always make the stay more enjoyable. We had a large site and it was a peaceful place... We have never been to Exeter before and were very impressed with the town. It was fun going into the shops, restaurants and bakeries. I'm hoping we are able to get back there very soon.

Site needs weeding. Not maintained. Pool was in need of repair. Kind of cloudy. Very small and chairs were not plenty and they need a cleaning. The site that my daughter stayed on had a seasonal next door and they had a bright light on overnight. Need too respect others. They had 2 dogs that wouldn't stop barking for like the first two hours.
