I can honestly say that I loved our spot. I would wake up to the birds and fell asleep to the crickets and the frogs. Our host and hostess were very very pleasant to deal with. Even all the people that are full time were very nice and pleasant. Yeah, you may be away from all the action in NH but honestly, everything is only about half an hour drive away. Yeah, you may be away from all the action in NH but honestly, everything is only about half an hour drive away. We took a drive one day down the Kangamangus which is only down the street. We saw Lost River Gorge not far away. Then we went down 93 and saw The Flume etc etc. All well within driving distance the came back to peace and quiet. Just what the doctor ordered for some R&R It also was cool to see the fog in the morning coming off the water. Right out of a Steven King novel. Very very cool. The foliage was great this time of year. We didn't want to leave we liked it that much. I want to go back again next year. Loved 😍 loved 😍 loved 😍 my stay.

We did walk around the campground while walking dogs and it was very tidy. Just FYI: we were asked to provide rabies certificates for our dogs. We had them. I have never had that request made. The campground is a great location along the river but I wonder about bugs in the summer.

We stayed at River Meadow for 3 nights - tent site, and we absolutely loved it! The RV bathrooms were a couple steps away, always clean, and the best of all, one-person bathroom with toilet, sink and hot shower! The campground was clean, very close to the town and Walmart, also, very quiet at night, which I highly appreciate when you sleep in tents.
