A steep but short hike, great views, and easily doable in a morning/afternoon. The bottom mile is pretty boggy on both the ski trail and the "New Trail", so make sure you have waterproof footwear or an extra couple pairs of socks.

A nice quiet hike lead up on a trail with no other people on it. The cabin was clean, easy to find, and the perfect ending for the day. There is a nice outlook over the area giving a beautiful view of the sunrise in the morning as well.

Rewarding hike up Doublehead in Jackson. Steep and icy in parts but well worth it. About 2+ hour loop -at my pace - to cover both the North and South heads. Did not stay in cabin but it looks cozy!

great hike but very hard.there are 3 different trails up.the ski trail is steep and hard but the easiest of the 3.and safest.the other 2 trails-old path and new path are very rocky and extremely steep.best time to hike it is in the summer because the snow likes to last for a long time on top and also there are tons of horseflies in the spring which are very annoying.
