About Maple Grove Park

Campground in New Hampshire.

Maple Grove Park in Pembroke, New Hampshire offers RV travelers a welcoming retreat in the heart of the Merrimack Valley region. Located at 615 Route 28, this park provides convenient access to some of New England's most appealing destinations while maintaining a peaceful, tree-lined setting that makes for a restful home base.

The Pembroke area sits in a particularly scenic part of southern New Hampshire, where rolling hills and natural beauty characterize the landscape. The location puts you within reasonable driving distance of major attractions that make this region special. Manchester, New Hampshire's largest city, is close by with its excellent shopping, dining, and cultural attractions including the Currier Museum of Art and vibrant downtown entertainment scene. For outdoor enthusiasts, the nearby Uncanoonuc Mountains offer hiking opportunities with rewarding views of the surrounding countryside.

Beyond the immediate area, this location serves as an excellent jumping-off point for exploring the broader New England region. The White Mountains are a reasonable drive north, offering some of the most dramatic mountain scenery in the Northeast. To the east, the New Hampshire seacoast and coastal towns like Portsmouth provide a different kind of charm with their historic architecture and oceanside dining. The Concord area, home to New Hampshire's State House and various historical sites, is also conveniently positioned for day trips.

Travelers who appreciate small-town New England charm will find Pembroke offers a genuine slice of local life without the overwhelming crowds of more tourist-heavy destinations. The area maintains its authentic character with local businesses, farm stands, and community spaces that reflect the region's heritage. This makes it ideal for RVers who want to experience real New Hampshire communities rather than just passing through.

The park's location on Route 28 provides straightforward accessibility while the surrounding maple groves suggest the natural setting that gives the park its character. Whether you're exploring the region for a few days or using this as a base for a longer New England adventure, Maple Grove Park's location offers excellent balance between convenient access to attractions and peaceful surroundings for relaxation.
