This was a campground so no rooms. Exceptional place, beautiful scenery, nice roomy sites and great hosts and service. Highly recommend.

Halloween activities here, lots of campers decorated and participated in the scary stroll to collect candy and goodies. Clean bathrooms but to cold. No heat but an electric heat fan in the window.

We had an awesome Indigenous Peoples’ Weekend at Sugar Ridge with my wife and our two dogs and wow, what a spot! They’ve got it all: LP tank filling, firewood, a heated pool open late into October, mini golf, and a bike trail with views that make you want to keep riding. We stayed here for about a month in Sept/Oct 2025. The campground is clean and well maintained. We are a fully contained class A, so I can’t speak to the bathhouses. We also didn’t take advantage of any of the amenities (pool, arcade, mini golf). All sites came with a fire pit and picnic table. There are quite a few seasonal sites in the CG. We are a fully contained class A, so I can’t speak to the bathhouses. We also didn’t take advantage of any of the amenities (pool, arcade, mini golf). All sites came with a fire pit and picnic table. There are quite a few seasonal sites in the CG. We loved the location. It’s about 15 minutes from downtown St. Johnsbury, and it’s about halfway between the New Hampshire White Mountains and hiking around Stowe. The campground is also connected to the Lamoille rail trail which was fantastic for walking our dogs. Our site was ST27 and was mostly level. Due to the direction of the site, we had full sun on our passenger side all day, no trees to provide shade, and unfortunately our awnings didn’t lower enough to provide shade. I noticed the same issue for the pull through sites across from us. The campground is dog friendly, and we were able to put up our portable dog fence. This campground is VERY family friendly with lots of activities planned on the weekends. Weekends were crowded, busy, and loud. Weekdays were peaceful and quiet. We don’t have young kids, so we agreed this isn’t the campground for us in the future. It felt too much like a weekend party campground with loud music coming from campground events and sometimes peoples’ sites. We also witnessed two or three campsites have unattended fires.

Cute spot outside of the busy tourist towns! We were able to enjoy the heated pool during our stay, horse ride and the LVRT just behind the the campground. Lovely place to take the kids, clean and safe. Danville also had a few great local spots for coffee and lunch!
