Nice campground that sits next to the park. I stayed in the cabin for an ultimate frisbee tournament. The layout is smartly designed and the roads are well-maintained. The cabins were decent. The layout is smartly designed and the roads are well-maintained. The cabins were decent. Clean, windows fitted well, and beds weren't bad. Tons of power outlets inside which is great, although there were no exterior outlets which feels like an oversight. The pull-through sites have outlets outside but not the cabin, so if you want to cook outside or have a heater or something bring an extension cord. Not much space inside, we had three people and it felt full, although it can sleep up to five or six. There was some insulation in the walls, but the space heater made a huge difference. The price for a cabin is somewhat steep at $80+ per night. No linens, towels, or pillows is disappointing for that price point. The restrooms and laundry area is a short walk and the showers (three in the men's room) have tons of hot water with no wait. That was pretty nice. There is a nice large playground next to the restrooms. Note they do lock the gate at night so you can't get in or out. They should consider an automatic gate, but I realize budget may not support that. It's possible a ranger could let you in or out if you asked at night, I'm not sure. Overall I think it's a solid campground but a little pricey.

We found a treasure by going to Turkey Swamp campground. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The sites are level, pull through, pet friendly and spacious. There are plenty of activities...hiking, biking, fishing, boating, playgrounds or sitting by a campfire. Interested in going to the beach for a day trip? Manasquan is 25 minutes away. Can't wait to go again...and again.

The roomy pull through sites are reasonably level, requiring only slight adjustment. The hard packed clay park roads stayed firm even after overnight torrential rains. Bring a long hose since the water connections are between sites. The friendly ranger offered us a loaner if we didn’t have one that would do the job. The laundry facilities were clean and up to date ($2 wash/dry)., and no change is required since payment is via app. This is a well maintained CG, suitable for small to medium size rigs due to the narrow park roads. Verizon and T-Mobile signals were good. Not a good park for Starlink due to dense tree cover.

Have a dump that you can pay to use without staying the night! ($20). Amazing peaceful wooded campground. Bumpy & tilty roads but not terrible (did in 35 ft Motorhom while towing our car). Good job designing dump station, it has a dump on both sides
