This was my first trip to this campground, our spot was large pull through. I have to say this park is very clean, I had no issues with my visit. We even booked the same spot for next year I liked it so much. The pool, and lake are great places to swim. I think the have the right amenities to keep one entertained and plenty of places to relax.

Employees are very friendly and helpful. They also have special events on the weekends if you care to leave your relaxing campsite. Recently they even had a fundraiser for local fire department. Just an overall great place! I love it!

Unfortunately, life happens. In my case, (I am an RN) a VERY unfortunate situation has led me to now have to cover for my coworker that weekend. I canceled with Timberline Lake Resort 24 days prior to our reservation. They kept my deposit of $79 and then CHARGED me $20 for canceling (they get a total of $79 from me). They said the $59 can be used as a credit at their campground if used within a year. Charging the $20 to cancel is just plain thievery in my opinion. Hotels give you a full refund with 24 hours notice. So no, I prefer not to do business with this campground if this is the way THEY conduct business. With a fair cancellation policy, they could have gained a new customer. 24 days in advance is plenty notice that it should be reasonable that I get my $79 back. I’ve been robbed.
