Great waterfall to visit. To get there is a long dirt/rocky road. Lots of grazing cows on the road so you must take it nice and slow. Once you get there, hiking the stairs to find the source of the waterfall is fairly easy. Was able to do it with out 4, 6 and 13 year old boys. They loved the little river and we continued to follow until until we found where it came out of the mountain. It was amaz... Great waterfall to visit. To get there is a long dirt/rocky road. So happy we made the drive out to find it.

Cloudcroft is my favorite place to go. It’s always cooler than the rest of southern New Mexico, a place you can go and be completely disconnected, because your cell phone does not work in a lot of places, especially Bluff Springs where we always go to camp. However, OSHA Trail does have cell service And is a great family hike.

National Forest service was in the park however not appearing to enforce any kind of hospitable rules concerning traffic and loud music.

Wife and I camped one night over Labor Day weekend. Beautiful area to camp. Fun to have a natural spring. There is a waterfall you can hike to (you can see if from the parking lot). Lots of open areas to camp in. It was very very busy begin over a holiday weekend but, would definitely camp here again. We didn’t have cell service so be aware of that if you need maps to get out.

Our family is quite big with our children being the ages of 7, 7, 5, and 3. As you come towards camp you are on the 'sun highway' which has a variety of our solar system's planets. Then coming in you see this beautiful spring which flows into the Bluff Spring's waterfall. It was much smaller when we came but still absolutely breathtaking. The site allows dispersed camping and there are a plethora of trails to choose from. We hiked so much and the trails were easy on our children who had wonder in their eyes! Cows are everywhere! My little ones were so excited to see pur new mooing friends. We awoke in the morning to a cow walking in front of our camp calling to their other cow friends. Definitely bring a mat, blow up mattress, or cot for under your sleeping bag as the ground is a bit rocky. For my fellow rock lovers! We found limestone, slate, some cool ones we couldn't identify, and even a type of ore on the trails! Pictures to come after they finish tumbling.
