We were in the upper loop where reservations stay and have water and electric hook ups, but they do have a lower loop (does 40-51) that are first come first serve. The bathrooms were spacious and very clean with three large private curtained showers and four bathroom stalls. I took pics of some of the sites so others could see more than what the reservation page shows, but we liked our site 11, backing up to the wilderness and with an uninterrupted view of the state park we are in. Overall wonderful experience! (Oh! Don’t forget your bug spray…even in mid October there are mosquitoes. ☺️)

For the cost, this place is great. Very beautiful location, $100 for the week. No sewer at site 24, however I have a 50 amp and running water. There is a shower house that’s open 24 hours a day. The water is warm however there is no heat inside the bathroom. Nice little hikes set up around the area also close to the boat dock. View of the lake and sunset. Fantastic place to stay. Attached picture my fifth wheel is 42 foot long and I said he usually site is pretty much level. Cons: You can smell the vent from the flairs a few miles away every once in a while. Can get real windy. Carlsbad Caverns is about an hour away and definitely worth the round-trip.

What a beautiful location. The campground is perfectly located with nice views. It was very quite, bathrooms and showers were clean. Our site had water and electricity. We stayed and visited Carlbad Caverns National Park. Reservations during travel season are recommended.

The water pressure is great, and water quality is good too. The sites are spaced far apart so you're not right on top of each other. The views are great. My only complaints are that the pads are very narrow so it was difficult to center the RV without having the tires off the parking pad which was uneven. The dump station is really nice because it has high water pressure and the faucet is very clo... The water pressure is great, and water quality is good too. Good spot. RV spots and bathhouse were pretty clean. Little playground available for kids to play at. RV spots are a good distance apart from each other. We usually get a map and a trinket from visitor centers, but it was unavailable the whole 5 days we were staying here. The dump station wasn't working (it is mentioned on their website).
