Such a lovely campground! A small stream (which our Camp Host said it was overflowing when he got there in May), nice sized camp spots with a table and fire ring, clean toilets and garbage bins. Drove over to the San Gregorio reservoir trailhead and enjoyed the easy hike to it. Our Host Joe was so helpful and friendly. Really enjoyed our visit! Nice quiet campground. Impeccably maintained. Cleanest bathrooms you'll ever find at a US Forest Campground. Camp host takes pride in maintaining the grounds and restrooms. A job well done by someone who cares. Great job, Joe. This campground has a beautiful meadow backdrop to the south. The Rio de los Vacas river runs along the eastern edge of the campground.
