as a work camper. And Camphost. It Always pains me to see campsites not taking care of. Trash. Picnic grills dirty and not clean. Burnt wood laying on the ground. And sites just a mess and overgrown. This is one of the very few state parks that we have stayed in that was not taken care of. But yet their campus site is mowed meticulous and clean.

Just what we needed for a quick overnight stay. But I will warn you, there are ants and ant hills, everywhere!! Thankfully we got there and sry up camp around 7, right before sun down, so the ants were all back in the holes, but we woke up to ants in our tent. Probably about 20 only, but enough to make us pack up real quick. They were all over the outside of our tent and getting in through the net... Just what we needed for a quick overnight stay. There was a playground for the kids, bathrooms and showers so that was nice! I also loved that each place had a table setting with a shaded structure above it. There were faucets around with clean drinking water too.

We were just here overnight but from what we saw, this is a very clean and well maintained camp area. The spots are marked, easy to get in and out of and have a picnic table. Some have covered areas and bbq's. There is a small playground for the kids and clean restrooms with a shower. AND... the restrooms are heated!! What a wonderful surprise on a 17⁰ morning. No issues whatsoever. Felt very safe here.
