Good capsite for families, lots of space. Bathroom nearby and trail too. Not that many sites, so plan to be there early since first come first serve.

We didn't camp here, but SHOULD HAVE!!! TALL PINES FOR DAYS. There were a few pick-nick tables and a vault toilet and a handful of fire rings. Located down in a canyon (hence the name), it was a lot cooler then up on top of the mesa that leads into it. Might get sketchy in a heavy rain. And would not recommend the drive in anything less than a 4x4 pick-up. VERY AWESOME CAMPGROUND OFF THE BEATEN TR... We didn't camp here, but SHOULD HAVE!!! TALL PINES FOR DAYS.
