The park is very nice. Enjoyed a quiet ride up the mountain. The public picnic areas were cleaned and well maintained. A very nice enjoyable place. $3 vehicle fee for day use of picnic areas.

Our visit at Bonito Hollow RV Park was a very nice one. The park is very clean. Sites are level, gravel, fire pits, picnic tables, a shower house and a small laundry room. 3rd year to book it for a group camping trip. I definitely like the Jay site better than robin for tent camping. There are more designated spots. Both sites have a huge pavilion and tons of tables and a large fire ring. Jay has about 7 obvious rent sites, but more could fit. One site you can drive your vehicle into as well. Great site for a medium group that is close enough to town that people can join for the day.

The amenities such as the showers and restrooms were very well kept and very nice. The view and surrounding area was gorgeous. We had a nice little river that ran behind our campsite and our little dogs loved it. The only thing I would say needs to be better was the WiFi. While we were here our campsite flooded during a downpour however this was not the fault of the campground itself and it didn’t hurt or damage anything. We even had a mama hummingbird and her babies on a tree branch directly above our campsite and she would visit us quite often. We really enjoyed our 5 night/6 day stay here and would definitely visit again. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Fantastic site, beautiful surroundings. Hearing the coyotes and bugs all night was glorious. Spending time with friends and family and having a great time together made it well worth the weekend. The staff we met were amazing and friendly. Thanks, Sandia Ranger District!

This location is peacefully located in a quiet, clean- serene area of Alto. Bonito Lake is just a short distance away from the campground which is definitely a plus for early morning fishing! The campground is dog friendly! We were greeted by deer every morning, such a delight. You will not be disappointed! We are already planning our next relaxing getaway!
