Would not recommend bringing large families or very small kids here to camp. Sites are pretty snug and there isn’t anything to keep your kids entertained here. Please be considerate of the folks that come here for some peace and quiet. Pro tip: stay on the west side of the camp to see the sunset colors and the sunrise!

This is a free, first come-first served camping area. Each site has a fire pit, a large cement picnic table, and some have a metal BBQ as well. Some have trees and some are more out in the open. Some have trees and some are more out in the open. There are no sign ups, sign ins or reservations. Most sites can be seen from the parking lot and are right next to it, but there are a few that are set back a little further. So if it looks like all the campsites are full, get out and scout it a little bit. You might find a free spot that's not taken. We stayed there two nights at the beginning if October. The campground has around 10 spots available. The day temperatures were in the 80s and the nights in the mid 40s. There are water pumps, you can see them in some pictures, they DO NOT WORK. There is no water available for washing up so you need to bring it yourself. There are no services whatsoever. The toilets are pit toilets. They are kept pretty clean but a pit toilet is gonna be stinky and have flies no matter what. There are no garbage cans because it's too far away for trash pick up services so you need to bag up and take out all your trash too. This is a quiet camping area so no loud music or partying. It's also a dark sky zone so plan to come on a cloudless night to see the most stars. The milky way is easily visible too. Coming out here during a meteor shower would be the best!!!!

Quiet, located across the road from the river. The Beaver Family has been keeping construction a priority cutting down the flow to a small sized stream. Late evening, just before dark, we were thrilled to see three or more deer yard right on the campground! Lovely variety of birds to watch. The night sky is BEAUTIFUL! Camping is free with stay limits. Check out their website for more info.
