There was a light rain falling on this Saturday afternoon so there weren't many people there. The grounds were nice with plenty of trash bins and picnic tables. The trees are tall and plentiful. Stayed till dark and nobody bothered me. Wish they allowed overnight camping.

Never had a picnic here but the trails are epic. It is so nice to get out in these hills. Name has flat in it but there are plenty uphill and down hills. Challenging terrain as well as flowing trails. And quite a bit of shade which is super nice as the heat bumps up.

Fantastic place to picnic and day camp. They have restrooms here as well. Grilling is allowed at certain locations and certain requirements are in place so check the Monzano mountains info before heading out. Plenty and I mean plenty of mountain biking trails, many not so easy, but hiking can easily be done here as well. Parking is free.

Great family hiking area! The grounds are well maintained and the trails aren’t overly ambitious for families with young kids.
