Just off I25 Frontage Rd. 5-30amp FHU sites nicely spaced. Each site has a privacy fence and picnic table. It is a small area carved out of a quiet neighborhood with fencing to delineate the surrounding private property. There are chickens and roosters roaming freely from the nearest home. T-Mobile provided strong enough signal for streaming.

What a nice, quiet and quaint place to stay! The owners were awesome! The views were beautiful! We also got to see the buffalo! Very clean park, nice laundry room as well. We are keeping this to our favorites! We took a scenic drive and also got to see mule deer! Don’t forget to go to the nature hot springs too!

What a great place with beautiful views! Stephanie was very friendly and helpful during the booking process. We were able to get our 40’ toy hauler in our spot. The small laundry building also has a patio on the other side.

We stopped here early April on our way to Denver. Though we were not able to meet the owners, Maxine & Roland, they maintained communications for check-in and our space was ready. Beautiful views and nice sized dog park. Very quiet and peaceful. (Hookups are behind trailers.)

A pleasant overnight stay in a 5-site FHU campground. We were the only campers in late October, so it was super peaceful. Our 30'TT and truck fit easily in Site #1; since there were no other campers, it was easy to get turned around to exit the campground. We would stay here again. The camp host was on top of things, friendly, and enthusiastic about the Las Vegas, NM area.

We've stayed here a couple of times. It's a very convenient location off of the 25 when traveling through. It's a little noisy next to the interstate, but the campground is clean. They have a little dog run for the pups, which is great. The bathrooms were very clean and nice. They also serve breakfast at a pretty reasonable price, if you make reservations. Also they've put in a small swimming pool... We've stayed here a couple of times. It's a very convenient location off of the 25 when traveling through. The hosts at the campground were very nice and helpful when needed. Nice clean campground. Doing lots to keep improving it. Hikes all around campground. I kept filling my fresh water take because my water pump has better pressure. The owner said he is going to fix the pressure. There is disc golf, playground for kids and in summer a pool. We stopped at this KOA for one night. GPS took us in no problem. First note though, the road leading to the KOA is terribly rough. We drove very slowly and it still was jarring. Our site was clean and level. We travel with a 21 foot pickup and 35 foot fifth wheel. We had no problems negotiating ourselves into our site. The 50-amp power at the pole was “clean”. We did not use any other connections at the site. This campground was very quiet. Of note at this KOA is they offer for a fee, a hot breakfast in the morning. I think it was $7.99 a person but I don’t remember for sure. We did not partake as they don’t start serving until I think it was 7 or 8AM, but this is a nice touch for a KOA Journey! My only complaint and the only reason I did not give this KOA 5 stars is the signage for departure. We departed in the dark. There are signs for “Big Rig Exit” but they are very difficult to read in the dark with just headlights on. We got confused and basically got lost in the campground. In the dark. It took us awhile to figure it out but new exit signage would have made this KOA an outstanding place to stop for the night!

Very nice campground. I was afraid it was going to be too close to the highway and then be noisy but it was very quiet. They had a great breakfast in the morning for only $8, highly recommend.

This is a nice property. Lots of amenities and the location is beautiful . The staff is fantastic. The breakfast is wonderful. I usually stay in a cabin. I have been to this location twice. Its really unfortunate that the owner/manager has noisy dogs . Both times I've been here, the dogs are outside and bark non-stop while the owner is gone.
