Before we arrived I read many reviews saying that this place was run down and the people were miserable. This was NOT the case for us. The employees were very friendly and the campground itself was well kept and the perfect amount of children laughing and quiet. Any dogs barking were at a minimum and not at all bothering. This was NOT the case for us. The employees were very friendly and the campground itself was well kept and the perfect amount of children laughing and quiet. Any dogs barking were at a minimum and not at all bothering. Kids playing on the playground and at the pool we're not overly loud. Maybe I got lucky but I have nothing negative to say about the place. We did a 1 hour tour where they do try to sell you a "membership" that was a bit expensive but to others it might be a good deal. When we broke down the numbers and told them it wasn't for us they were not mad about it like many reviews stated. They basically told us "it's not for everyone and we hope you enjoy your stay". The negative reviews had me on edge about this place but after coming here I realized they were either way off or that was an off chance that something bad happened. We've been very happy with all aspects of this place so far.

We “won” a 3-day, 2-night stay, which was nothing more than a pathetic sales trap. The entire pitch was them begging us to drop $17,500 on a “membership” that gives you… absolutely nothing worth having. You still have to pay $200 a night to stay in their crappy little cabins with AC units that belong in a junkyard, eat in a restaurant that smells like sewage, and maybe take a dip in their disgusti... You still have to pay $200 a night to stay in their crappy little cabins with AC units that belong in a junkyard, eat in a restaurant that smells like sewage, and maybe take a dip in their disgusting “heated pool” that looks more like a swamp than a place for people. The funniest part? They kept bragging that they’re “better than public camping sites.” Oh please. At least public campgrounds don’t try to scam you out of $17k while offering the same (or actually better) experience. Here, you get no security (the gate is literally lifted by hand like a cheap carnival ride), no background checks on members (so you never know what kind of creep you’re next to), and “amenities” that are nothing but sad jokes. So congratulations to this place — they’ve managed to create the world’s most overpriced, trashy campground. Public sites are cheaper, safer, and cleaner. These people are basically asking you to light $17,000 on fire for the privilege of being ripped off. What a scam. What a joke

One of the three showers was out of order. • Amenities: The miniature golf course is in terrible shape, and the outside deck is caving in, making it completely unusable. • Atmosphere: Campsites are crammed together like sardines, with little privacy. We also had barking dogs after 10 pm and encountered several rude people during our stay. Overall, this campground feels run-down and poorly maintained. We will not be returning, and I’d suggest looking elsewhere for a cleaner, friendlier, and better-kept place to camp.

We were givin a free weekend with our new camper and little did we know it is a time share resort.. they'll tell you it's not but it's a lie. They tried to sell as a $15k time share and I was upset. We came to camp as a family for the first time and they ruined a whole day of much needed family time. The showers are awful and the sites are packed in like no other camp site. Beware!!!!!!

We stayed here in May while visiting my son who lives in Brooklyn. It's a very nice campground. Once you go through the gate you wouldn't know you are in a large metropolitan area. It's close to several historical places to visit, such as the Hamptons, Montauk Point Lighthouse, Fire Island Lighthouse. If we were in the area, we would camp here again.

Beautiful oasis! Dump station on the driveway out. Spacious RV sites. Plenty of room to walk the dogs. Clean bathrooms. Nice office staff. About an hour from New York city. 5-10 min drive to Long Island Railroad.

One of the nicer RV parks we have been to. It is quiet, spots are big enough for large rigs, grass area with table and charcoal grill, and a large field with playground. Friendly front office. 50 amp hook up spots. I highly recommend if you are staying in Long Island - great central location. On-site bathroom could use an update.
