Enjoyed the people at JP but missed the cafe table servers. Now you have to order at the counter and wait for your buzzer to ring. Less personal now. The dinner food at the cafe was mediocre. But the breakfast was very good. The cabins have some nice amenities when they work properly. I couldn't make coffee the first day because the Keurig didn't work. When I told the staff at the office about it, they replaced it with another coffee maker but that one didn't work either. So no coffee. The dances are usually a lot of fun but on my last trip the music wasn't that good. Almost nobody dancing. But things did pick up later when the music selections got better. If you want an experience that easily rivals JP, we highly recommend Hillside campground in PA. But if you want a low key weekend with just the basics, Jones Pond is an acceptable place to stay, just not sensational.

Facilities are very clean and placed conveniently. The pool, barn and cafe are close to the entrance to the campground. Cafe serves delicious food and is very well priced. They are a BYOB campground since the state of NY doesn’t allow campgrounds to hold liquor licenses. You can bring alcohol anywhere within the campground - no glass at the pool or barn. A nice perk is that they accept Canadian Dollar at par everywhere: you can pay at the cafe, store and even the camping fees in Canadian cash. The only exceptions are the reservation deposit, which is charged in advance, as well as bingo - those are in $US only.

Also during the week. Still one of my favorites 🤩. I've been to 12 of these 🌈 parks since I bought my camper trailer. They are all different. They all have their own character.. But This one is lovely. It has a comfortable feeling.🥰 After the short bumpy unimproved neighborhood road,😣 you will see the entrance is tight🫢 something I found at two other 🌈parks as well. If you're towing your house behind you, there will be some careful manouvering🫢 Even though I was unable to get in on a weekend to experience an event, 🥳the layout, the different loops, 🌠the rustic areas,🌲 the hiking trails🥾🚶 the dance barn, 🕺🏻the beautiful swimming pool🏊🏻‍♂️, the restaurant 🍽️, the large property for the seasonal residents - surpass any of the other parks I've been to.🙌🏻 It's a wonderful evening walk.🍷 This property is ginormous! Residence would definitely require a gas-powered golf cart. I understand they're adding cabins because that seems to be the biggest seller for overnighters.🤑 Again, something common in these types of parks is very limited overnight RV sites. They seem to all be focused on seasonal and perms, but they do have plenty of ⛺ tent sites. The tent area does have power⚡ and water💦. There's actually a large centrally located tent area,🏕️ a secondary group tent area,🎪 and a rustic tent area in the woods by the stream.🌊 They have a well stocked store with any type of camping need or food item you would need. Also bathing suits and the necessary 🌈 items as well. The price is reasonable. The staff is exceptional.. Cleanliness is second to none. The only thing that's missing is a playhouse😈 or a hot tub. 🤓

Warm welcome from the owners, who clearly work had to keep the site looking good. Good washroom facilities and shower pressure. So why 3 stars? Very noisy at night with petrol golf carts and other vehicles hammering around until around 3am. Rough roads leading to the site, and also some within the site. A person "holding court" at the swimming pool dressed like princess Margaret in a kaftan walking about patting guests on the head. Didn't feel inclusive.

It has been one day since leaving Jones Pond and we are itching to get back. It truly felt like a home away from home. A great community feel with pleasant, courteous people both guests and seasonals. Beautifully maintained grounds, a great sized pool, meticulous clean bathrooms, and fun planned events. The cafe on site is a treat! Delicious foods at a reasonable price, in case you didn’t want to... It has been one day since leaving Jones Pond and we are itching to get back. Another perfect stay at The Beaver-Del. It was a wet rainy weekend in a tent so I ventured into the bar area in the evenings after fishing and I was not disappointed. The music was playing, chili was hot, and the boneless wings were excellent. The game room has cornhole and billiards in a great open space. Thanks to Becky and the rest of the staff for making this another memorable stay at The Del.... Another perfect stay at The Beaver-Del. Each site cones equipped with a fire ring and a picnic table. The 2 large trees on our site provided the perfect combination of shade and bird watching opportunities throughout the entire day. Cedar Waxwings and American Redstarts and much more. Stargazing at night. Our group consisted of 3 adults and 2 children. 2 cars and 2 tents and we still had plenty of space and green grass. Dog friendly. The lower East Branch was a little too low when we camped mid-August but is probably a great stretch of river to fish in the Spring and late Fall. I highly recommend this campgrpund.

Just needed a tent site, could not have been easier to check in and I had no issues at all. Had a big and most important FLAT patch of ground to set up on. 10/10

Cool place, On Facebook they said they open at 1pm. We get there and sign on the door said they will open at 4pm. Also said it is closing permanently after August 9th. Such a shame. Wasted trip.
