I was looking for a quiet place to relax from my crazy life, crazy work hours and craziness in general and I found it here. I would even feel safe coming and staying here alone as well. I rented one of the beautiful trailers and I’m so happy with my decision. I’m sure it’s full of more life in July /August with children but I went in September and it’s beautiful and serene. I’m sure it’s full of more life in July /August with children but I went in September and it’s beautiful and serene. The trees are changing, the air is crisp in the evenings for a bonfire and the area days are warm to enjoy the water fun and go on tours to things in the area. Non Echo Provincial is only 5 klms away. The owner Ralph takes pride in his little piece of paradise and is the most friendliest and outgoing person I’ve ever met at a campground. He always makes time to say hello and have a small conversation. I look forward to staying again sometime. ( If he’ll have me back, since I made so much noise and disturbed the chipmunks haha )

We've rarely experienced such a warm welcome at a campsite. The two nights here will remain a very fond memory from our three-week tour through Ontario. Gerald and Doris

This park was even better it did not disappoint was super accommodating, it is family owned. I fell in love with the office spot that is right by the water an amazing view day and night, beautiful sky with stars, hot showers, clean washrooms, etc too many beauty things to list. We have now made this our go to place every year since. I fell in love with the park and the people there. I would 120% recommend this place to anyone. Best mistake I ever made. This is our 3rd year & we decided to rent a trailer this year that was all inclusive and 2 hours a day of water activities (kayak, canoe, paddle boat) free of charge with rental. If you want more time you can rent for super affordable pricing. They have seasonal sites and rental trailers, a cottage and spaces for your own tent or trailer. Beautiful playground, horseshoe pits and a beautiful waterfront with a small lake. A hidden gem I swear this place will not disappoint. You can spend the day out of town and there wonderful gems outside the park or spend the day in the park.

We had a great 2 night stay at Rockwood. Ralph is a great host, tons is stuff for the kids to do at the beach. I wish we found it 10 years ago because we would have been coming yearly. Your booking also includes a few hours of water craft rental which is a plus. Pay attention at the booking to make sure it’s booked correctly, we got lucky.
