We swam, sunbathed on these awesome rock formations, and there’s even a small cave we swam into. There are forested hiking trails along the river with beautiful views, and the surrounding nature is just incredible. What really stood out to us is how much the owners care about the place. You can feel it everywhere - from the creative sheds, to the landscaping and to the bathrooms (which are the nicest campground bathrooms we've ever seen). Everything feels thoughtful and well cared for. It's such a special spot - We can’t wait to come back!

We were really looking forward to staying at Brewster River after finding their website and planned our trip around it. Our stay spanned Columbus day weekend, which was understandably busy. Unfortunately, it just wasn't the quiet and peaceful experience we sought. Several sites here are pretty close together. We were really looking forward to staying at Brewster River after finding their website and planned our trip around it. Our stay spanned Columbus day weekend, which was understandably busy. Unfortunately, it just wasn't the quiet and peaceful experience we sought. Several sites here are pretty close together. We stayed on site 7 for two nights, and site 8’s fire pit was maybe 20 feet from our pad. It happened to be occupied by a group in town for a disc golf tournament who were loud and drinking late into the night. We then moved to 10, which was better, but we heard a lot of 15's antics. We stayed from Thursday through Tuesday. Thursday was fine aside from a few screaming kids, but Friday and Saturday nights were basically a party atmosphere. Sunday, the party left, but two dogs were left crated and barking for hours while their owners were gone. The campground owner tried to help but couldn’t reach them, eventually apparently the police and animal control were contacted, but the barking went on well into the night. The only truly quiet night was Monday. Typically we find dispersed camping options, but that isn't really a thing in northern VT, so when we return, we'll try somewhere else. We stayed at Elmore State Park earlier this year, it wasn't great, but it was quieter than Brewster River.

Stayed at site #4 and had an incredible time! Spacing between sites was perfect, despite it being a "full house" for Labor Day Weekend, it never felt crowded. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Having 24/7 access to the woodshed with different payment methods accepted was fantastic. Owners are very responsive by phone and were willing to work with us when we couldn't figure out car troubles... Stayed at site #4 and had an incredible time! Owners are very responsive by phone and were willing to work with us when we couldn't figure out car troubles, causing us to need to stay another night on short notice. And when I needed help with a battery jump, Matt and Ty were quick to come down and give a hand when they certainly didn't have to. Their kindness and willing to go the extra mile assured that my wife and I plan to make this campground an annual trip!

Overall a wonderful property, I unfortunately had to leave after 1 night due to an illness. But I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some peace and quiet in nature. My only suggestion would be to put a space heater in the rustic cabin.

Just enjoyed a stay at "The Loft" at Brewster River Campground with our kids. The river was steps away and the campground was so peaceful. Loved all the thoughtful touches provided such as toiletries and anything you would need in the kitchen. Made friends with the bird nesting on the deck. Would highly recommend this spot!

We had a wonderful spot surrounded by trees. The bathrooms were individual and clean and newly remodeled. It was a little cooler in October but bathrooms had heat. The store was well stocked with supplies and souvenirs from local artisans. There’s plenty to do including bouncing on the jumping pillow which was more fun than expected. There were places to take walks and enjoy the geese and ducks. Brad and Samy (the dog) were amazing and so helpful taking us to our site and showing us around. I got to watch Samy playing with the ducks. It was adorable. Nancy is wonderful and took such good care of us. We extended our stay while we were there because we enjoyed it so much. We hope to return and see everyone again. One thing to note is that there’s a Neversink Campground that comes up in Google maps when you search for it and this is not the same place. We ended up there initially and had to backtrack a bit but it was worth it when we found this place, the Neversink River Resort. Use the address to search and you’ll get to the right place.

The bathrooms were very impressive, clean and modern with toilets, sinks and showers. A beautiful huge property with goats, ducks, swings, a giant bounce pad for the kids as well as river cubes, bikes and golf carts available for rent. Last but not least, we did not meet a single staff member (and we chatted with quite a few) who weren't super warm, welcoming and helpful. They gave the impression that they like what they do and were happy we were joining them for the weekend. We will definitely be back.

This was a beautiful rv park. It was quiet and peaceful and the pond/lake was so comforting to sit by and watch the ducks swim by. The trees were beautiful and I loved walking on the paths. All were very professional down to earth people.

Beautiful resort/Campground. I didn't get a chance to see a lot there but what I saw was very nice. Also walking among the trees was very relaxing. Worth another visit. Appreciated park ranger Brad, who guided us to our camp site to get set up and other information he provided. We also met Sam his dog. This a beautiful hidden gem! Located directly on the bank of the Allegheny river, this park offers one mile of riverfront camping, perfect for kayaking, fishing, swimming or simply taking in the sights. First time to this campground and we were amazed at how beautiful and well kept the property was. Owners Dave and Cindy are great people and very accommodating! Picturesque park like setting with river access right outside your door. The campground offers kayaks to borrow for a trip on the river which was a great perk. We’re already planning our next trip back here!

This is an absolutely beautiful, well maintained campground. It’s small, peaceful and serene with beautiful views. I was so excited for our 5 night trip- we came from Ohio and the reviews indicated all of this plus very friendly owners and staff. What more could we ask for? What more could we ask for? Making your way in, there is a 10ft 10 in. bridge that there is no way a camper can fit under without damaging it. Take the truck route in to avoid this. I called and asked for the alternative route and the woman was very friendly and directed us which way to go. She greeted us right at our truck when we got there and told us where to find our campsite. We later found out her name is Judy and we appreciated her going out of her way to reach out to us after an issue we had on our trip. We found our campsite with no issues and were pleasantly surprised with the riverfront location- yes that’s what we reserved but you aren’t always so close when they say that. We arrived on a Saturday so the place was full but over the next few days people came and went and it remained very quiet. Overall, this place was awesome and we hope to return very soon.

I really loved it here. The website doesn’t give you much to go on, but I had a feeling it would be a great spot and I was right. From the road, you’d never guess this place even exists. It’s tucked away, quiet, and surrounded by gorgeous, towering trees that I couldn’t stop admiring. When we arrived around 2 p.m., the office was empty, but they had our information posted on a bulletin board, easy enough. The riverfront sites are nicely set up, and all our hookups worked perfectly. (The sewer cap did have a hole in the middle, which was a little odd, lol.) The map doesn’t mention them, but there are some lovely trails throughout the property, and I was surprised by just how big it is. I do wish they had laundry facilities, maybe something they’ll add in the future. They do have a playground, pavilion with grills, a small community room, and they’re dog-friendly. Mosquitos are plentiful, so bring bug spray (and maybe even a zapper). For navigation, I think a small arrow on the trees by the first row of riverfront RVs would help indicate the loop exit. I only knew it was there because I walked the park, but not everyone does that. The staff were friendly and the prices are right! This is one of the cheapest stays on our whole east coast/ New England route. Getting to the park involves driving through a lot with uneven ground and potholes—nothing major, just take it slow. The city of Olean has a large homeless population, which I hadn’t expected, but the streets are surprisingly clean and well-kept. There are new businesses popping up, and I had fun tracking down the painted squirrel statues scattered around town. The surrounding area is beautiful, with plenty to do if you don’t mind a 45-minute drive. We’ve been traveling since May, so we were slowing our pace, but we did make it to Rock City Park, which was a charming little stop. I’d love to come back here someday and have already recommended it to other full-time RVers. Look for the family of eagles!🦅
