We just picked up our little guy from his first overnight camping experience with Scouts Canada - his biggest complaint was that he wanted to stay longer! Everything from the online parent orientation sessions, to the documents/checklists for first-timers, the email communications, and the wide-variety of camp activities were so well organized. The staff were top-notch, and we will definitely sign... Councillors were so amazing but the food and cabins were lacking. They were dirty and made out of cheap plywood. The food was stale and always felt like they microwaved it. Most of the time they did not have running water. We were forced to go on a horrible canoe trip during a storm. I slept on a rock while the wind and thunder carried our small tent. Unless you want to feel like your in a homele... Councillors were so amazing but the food and cabins were lacking. They were dirty and made out of cheap plywood. My kid loves camping here with the Girl Guides. Lots of great trails, and decent cabins. (Be prepared; I'm told there's no running water.)
