We had an excellent stay at Skyline RV Camp! Since it was winter, the campground was quiet with just us and one other RVer, which made for a peaceful and relaxing experience. Our host, Frank, was absolutely awesome. He was incredibly generous and accommodating, even allowing us to stay past our checkout time without any penalty or hassle because the campground wasn’t booked. That kind of flexibil... We would definitely come back and highly recommend it to others! PS the waterfront view is amazing and gives a wonderful view of the big city!

I questioned that at the time, and they told me we were getting a seasonal discount. The day before we showed up, we got a confirmation invoice saying we owed $63.97. When I showed up, they told me my balance was over $500!!!... DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!! THIS IS THE WORST PARK I'VE EVER BOOKED! I booked this park in June, 2024 for September 28, 2025. The original price that I was quoted was $40 a night. I questioned that at the time, and they told me we were getting a seasonal discount. The day before we showed up, we got a confirmation invoice saying we owed $63.97. When I showed up, they told me my balance was over $500!!! (Over 4 times what we were quoted). I told her that the previous day I had received that email, and showed it to them, and the girl told me that somebody was supposed to call me and tell me that their prices went up. I never received a call nor an email. I asked to speak with the manager, which I did over the phone, and he basically said well sorry, this is the way it is. He told me there was a "glitch" in their system that gave me the $40 rate, and that they have had this problem before. Then my husband went in and asked to speak with the owner. The owner basically said the same thing, but when my husband pushed, he offered us a discounted rate (3 times what we were originally quoted). Of course we weren't willing to pay that, thinking it was a "bait and switch" maneuver. So we left. I want to add that driving to the RV park through the city was an absolute nightmare! We are in a 35 feet long class A motorhome plus a tow vehicle. It seemed like we had only a few inches in the lane on each side of the motorhome. And people are extremely rude, pulling out in front of us, almost backing into us, etc....

Perfect Manhattan skyline view, quick and easy access to the Ferry to get across the water and see the city. No thuggery. Its safe. Bathrooms aren't great. Who cares. You can see Manhattan and get there quickly via Ferry and don't have to worry about people robbing... What's its not? A traditional Green RV park with trees, golf carts, and campgrounds. What it is? Unfortunately, communication during our stay was lacking. I reached out to both the phone number and email listed on the night of our reservation but did not receive a response. When we arrived, our assigned spot had ef... We recently stayed here and wanted to share some constructive feedback. The property itself is very nice, quiet, and well maintained, and we truly enjoyed that aspect of our visit. Unfortunately, communication during our stay was lacking. I reached out to both the phone number and email listed on the night of our reservation but did not receive a response. When we arrived, our assigned spot had effectively been overtaken by the two neighboring sites. We were able to squeeze in, but only barely, and had to park much farther from the building than expected. Because of this, we were unable to fully use our slide-outs, which was one of the main reasons we chose this location. What was most disappointing was the lack of any on-site support or response. Even a quick call, text, or email letting us know there were other available sites that weren’t sold would have been an easy fix and would have made a big difference. Overall, I enjoyed the property itself, but I wasn’t fully satisfied with our stay due to the lack of responsiveness and assistance during our visit. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests

We were able to squeeze in, but only barely, and had to park much farther from the building than expected. Because of this, we were unable to fully use our slide-outs, which was one of the main reasons we chose this location. What was most disappointing was the lack of any on-site support or response. Even a quick call, text, or email letting us know there were other available sites that weren’t sold would have been an easy fix and would have made a big difference. Limited Facilities • According to Pitchup reviews, the toilets and showers are not very well-maintained: “No Möglichkeit den Tank zu leeren … die Duschen sowie Toiletten … extrem schmutzig” (“no way to dump tanks … showers and toilets … extremely dirty”)  • Some reviews point out that the portable showers have broken holders and lack shelving/hooks for towels and clothes.  2. No Sewage Dump Station • There is no dump station (i.e., you can’t empty your RV’s waste tank on site).  • This means for multi-day stays, managing grey / black water is a challenge. 3. Water Limitations • There’s a water refill station, but no continuous water hookup for individual RVs.  • During winter months (Dec, Jan, Feb) water is not available at the refill station.

The location is fantastic, the area is safe, and it really is the best bang for your buck. The tent sites are definitely on the smaller side. Unless you have a small tent, there is no room to hang out in your plot. Fortunately the... As someone who was apprehensive about the tent camping experience, allow me to break it down for you! Staying here at the tent sites was overall a very great experience. The location is fantastic, the area is safe, and it really is the best bang for your buck. The tent sites are definitely on the smaller side. Unless you have a small tent, there is no room to hang out in your plot. Fortunately there was only one other tent camper, so we were able to hang out on the empty lot next to us. Also BRING A HAMMER! You’ll need to stake your tent down because of the wind, and you won’t be able to press your stakes into the turf by hand. If you prefer shade in the morning, camp at site 6 or 7. If you prefer shade in the evening, camp at site 1 or 12. Because the sites are by the street, there is some light noise from cars and people but it didn’t bother us. My only noise complaint is the laundry machines squeaked badly when in use (and the facility was right next to our tent). One of my bigger concerns about tent camping was safety, but we had zero issues and felt safe the whole time. We had a lock on our tent for good measure, but there was a never a point were we felt unsafe. Overall a very fun experience with little complaints, we would absolutely tent camp again. PS: it’s an urban setting, at night there are rats that scurried around the tent area. Keep your food in your car and your tent shut, they won’t bother you.
