Gary and Ellen are amazing people and outstanding campground owners. The property is always well maintained—grass is neatly cut, the pool is clean, and the camp store is fully stocked with essentials and more. We stayed in our tent and used the electric hookup, and also rented a second site to park our boat. The water pressure in the showers was great when we used them, though we avoided peak hours. No complaints at all. This campground is in a peaceful location with a friendly, courteous staff. It’s perfect for families and guests of all ages. One thing to note—the 5mph speed limit is strictly enforced, and it should be. There are a lot of kids walking and biking around, and anything faster would be a real safety concern. For anyone complaining about that: it’s a campground—it’s supposed to be calm and relaxing. Slow down and enjoy it! We’ll definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it.

We had a nice experience at this campground. One of our camping group couldn’t make it. The campground does not do refunds if your cancellation is made less than 30 days before your stay. Ellen was kind enough to work with us to find a solution. In addition when we made the reservation she called us back on a Sunday-great customer service to say the least. The campground is older. In addition when we made the reservation she called us back on a Sunday-great customer service to say the least. The campground is older. They do have a handful of full hookup sites. They do let you know ahead of time that the water pressure isn’t great so you need to fill your fresh water tank. There is a lot of shaded sites & the campground isn’t just lines of campers they have trees around and many camp loops which creates a bit more privacy. The pond is lovely .
