We had a great time but I think there is a lot of room for improvements. We liked the staff, the amenities, the beach, the children's club, and the property was beautiful, very serene and peaceful. There were a few reasons why I gave 2 stars. The main reason was due to the lack of communication. As first time visitors there is a lot of things we were not aware of and I think because many people have been going for over 20 years there are a lot of gaps that people forget to mention to first timers. I dont want to speak negatively of this faith based retreat center but just a few suggestions. 1. The menu should be made available as there are required meals that people must purchase for staying in the indoor units. 2. Communication of meal start and end times need to be given. Saturday bbq we showed up at 530pm and the food was pretty much gone. We had no idea we needed to lineup at 5pm for the bbq. That was disappointing since nobody mentioned it and how else would we know considering all other dinners are 530pm. 3. Im unsure why there is an automatic required fee for kids club for everyone with children even if you dont sign up for it. 4. The mattress for the pull out couch should be upgraded and there should be sheets. 5. I found out as we were leaving we could've rented a fridge. Again information should be readily available. I wouldn't even think to ask considering there wasn't one in the room. 6. Breakfast was great diners were par 0, a published menu is a must. Especially if you are required to pre pay for meals and youre charging $20 per adult. Definitely disappointed in the dinners. 7. Most of the preplanned activities are during the week so if you come only for the weekend there are plenty of amenities to use but not any of the planned organized activities which is a shame. They have a lot going on during the week and the weekend is more a la carte but we found enough to do on our own. However this did not allow much of a sense of community other then the Sunday sermon and the kids club which again all families pay for even if your child doenst attend. Overall we had a fun time but there is so much potential for improvements considering the location and the property. I just think its important to know that people who come for the first time will need more information then the usual crowd. The pamphlet included in the welcome package is missing pertinent information for day to day operations. I would save the marketing booklet for the front desk only and provide a weekly checkin page checklist instead.

There are so many excellent things to say about our experience! Highlight of our experience was that it is a Christian camp. There were many kids engagement activities all centered around God's word! There are programmed kids activities from 9.30a.m to 11.45a.m. as well as an adult sermon or you can choose to rest. There's also programmed evening sessions from 7p.m to 8.30p.m which gives parents... There are so many excellent things to say about our experience! There's also programmed evening sessions from 7p.m to 8.30p.m which gives parents time to unwind or enjoy activities such as the juggling act. Also there's an extremely excellent variety of activities by age and skill set. The family carnival was another beautiful and memorable fun family affair with so many activities for everyone. Also enjoyed the outdoor recreation learning walk experience where we got to learn and observe turtles as well as go'fishing'. When not participating in planned activities there's lots of other activities like walking(very scenic and super expansive grounds), biking(you can rent bikes for $5), trampolines for the kids, kayaking or paddling(free to book), swimming and so much more. Our chalet was really spacious, with lots of necessary supplies for a super-comfy stay. Also, they included some nice family games..No TV was a bonus, meaning you get time to actually play the games. If you're in an option where you're cooking it's might be a good idea to bring your own things with you; the nearest grocery store is about 10 minutes away. People are generally very friendly, facilities fairly well-maintained. This was one of the best glamping experiences we've invested in. Extremely grateful to all the volunteers and staff for making our experiences memorable!

This is the best Christian campground for our family. Over the last 20 years the kids grew up here, learned about their faith, made lifelong friends and we all enjoyed the activities and programs. It’s a blessed place. The people make it amazing!

We had a great experience at Fair Havens! It was a refreshing time for kids, parents and grandparents alike. Lots of engaging activities for family members of all ages. They do an excellent job of blending time together as a family as well as age-based programming so that everyone leaves feeling excited to return

Our family (My wife, me and 2 children) came to this park this year for a few days to check it out. My parents have attended for many years but we never have. We absolutely loved it and have already booked a full week for next year. We can’t wait to enjoy fun games, good food and great preaching!
