I had a wonderful 4 days...quiet and relaxing. It's mostly seasonal campers, but all polite and friendly. I rented #35 and had a tent. Nothing is crammed in and the rolling hills are covered with spectacular trees. I had an electrical issue and the owner came to my rescue, very nice man! The capstone was nice and well stocked.

I’ve camped here many years. Started as a weekender then transitioned to seasonal. So many wonderful cherished memories and friendships I still hold dear. Started as a weekender then transitioned to seasonal. So many wonderful cherished memories and friendships I still hold dear. Life changed course for me, so I’m no longer a camper there, but do still visit from time to time. It’s extremely peaceful. If you are family camping and are looking for a place for your children to get back to nature and don’t expect an adult or staff to hold their hand every minute with an organized activity, THIS IS YOUR PLACE! If you want your children to REALLY CAMP and not be distracted with activities and to make life long friendships, THIS IS THE PLACE. If you have no children, I promise, you will not be infiltrated with brats! The parents who come to this campground are awesome! They know where their children are. The kids are respectful; but let’s be honest- kids are kids, and when one does step out of line, the parents ALWAYS handle it immediately and it’s been my experience it’s followed up with a face to face apology and it’s usually the last time it happens; and it’s RARE! Also pets are welcome! Just gotta have papers and on leash. Owners are stellar (Guy and Patty ❤️ and their entire family). They know EVERYTHING that goes on and keep everyone in check. Side note: you MORE THAN LIKELY at some point may see a bear if you’re lucky! Don’t pass this beautiful destination up! Way too many memories to be missed out on! You won’t be sorry!!

I've enjoyed camping at Fox Hill for many years, however this is the first time I camped with my two young boys and wife. We rented a 36 ft trailer on the main pond and loved every minute. The camper had plenty of space for two young children and two adults. The grounds were clean and well maintained.

Clean, pet-friendly camping. Mostly seasonals so it's not tailored to suit newcomers. Narrow one-way roads with no directional signs make it harder for longer trailers but it's very peaceful.

No road noise, nice owners and their family working at the office, and the kids loved the candy for 10 cents at the office. It was a bit tight getting around while towing in the camp and the dump station was no good. Park was swings and a Teeter toder. Mostly seasonally staying here. Price was a bit high considering how far from Albany the camp was.
