Have been going here since I was a little girl, great atmosphere and lots of wildlife. Stayed in cabins as well as tent sites. Has a pool and rv hookups and a great lake for fishing or swimming close by.

Park staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed at a campsite which was not very level. I used all my leveling chocks and could not level my rv. Alot of cabins and seasonal units. All campers very very respectful.

4 stars because of the trail you can access right from camp site. But tent sites, with no electricity, are expensive. Sites are ok, on smaller size. No grate on fire ring. Bathrooms are fine, about what you would expect. Showers are clean. Office staff is always friendly and helpful.
