The campsites are well maintained, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing and family friendly. The only area that could use some improvement is the bathrooms, but it does not take away from the overall experience. We truly love coming here and plan to keep returning.

Nice quiet campground. If you are lucky enough to get a site on the pond, they are large and private. Rangers keep the place calm and family friendly. If you're looking to have a rowdy party, camp elsewhere We appreciated Ranger Jason making himself visible. Gave us good hike recommendations.

Great smallish campground! I have read all the reviews and found some similarities and some inconsistency. The lake is small but it is beautiful. The lake is small but it is beautiful. Spent some time fishing with mixed results but pulled a couple nice rainbows. I didn't find the sites to be too small. I was in a site right on the lake w a small path that ended lake front. Private and beautiful. The fire pits were very nice with a heavy duty grate that lowers via a side handle for cooking. Rained a couple days so that makes camping challenging. Bathrooms were decent and mostly clean IMO. The week days were much better than the weekends where staff seemed to become overwhelmed. Management is somewhat picky about the sites but I was understanding about that knowing they deal with many many different people. We kept to ourselves, walked the trail, canoeing on the lake, fishing and cooking on the open fire. Couple recommendations: find a local source for wood. A bundle of wood at the campground is $14 and contains about 6-7 pieces. Ice is $3 which is reasonable. Bring your own TP to eliminate that issue. Overall was a nice and enjoyable time. Very very quiet at night. Somewhat noisy during the day w many kids playing

My wife and I discovered this place last year and fell in love with it. I brought my 3 kids this past week and it was amazing. The place is pristine, water is clean and the camping is peaceful. The park rangers are super helpful and friendly. I can’t wait to come back again and spend more time. There is no cell service so it’s the perfect place to disconnect. FYI there are bears nearby, we didn’t... My wife and I discovered this place last year and fell in love with it. I brought my 3 kids this past week and it was amazing. What a great experience! Check in and check out was so easy. The grounds are well maintained and bathrooms are fairly clean. I loved staying next to the little playground with only a short walk to a serene lake. Water was clear and kids found plenty of tadpoles to play with. Very positive experience!
