You got to see this place. It's warm and cozy. The food was good too. I would have given service another star, however, I was served a different meal than I had ordered. I didn't complain and our server didn't even notice. We just go with the flow. Overall, we can say that it's worth the drive to experience this place and the personalities that frequent it. We did not stay in any of the rooms.

Live bait also available if you are going on a fishing trip. Overall worth stopping if you are hungry.

We have decided to make it a yearly tradition to go back and stop in. I think the people who have left bad reviews might not understand small town restaurants or something, it's not the fierce hustle bustle environment of the city (and we are happy for that...its why we try to escape city life) I would recommend coming here and making a stop. Thank you for giving our family good memories.

We didn’t stay at the Lodge but we ate in the Hungry Moose restaurant. SO GOOD! 😊 It was so good that I forgot to take pictures.

We rented cabin 6 for a week. This cabin was nice and private compared to the others. It was clean and pretty much had everything we would need. A great little spot with access to the water if u don't mind climbing/jumping down or just a quick little minute stroll to the beach. The beach was lovely and perfect for kids as the water is shallow, not very weedy unless u went a bit deeper. A swim dock... We rented cabin 6 for a week. The beach was lovely and perfect for kids as the water is shallow, not very weedy unless u went a bit deeper. A swim dock was just beyond the swimming roped off area. Everyone that was there were very friendly. My son made many friends!! The beds were not the most comfy but definitely prefer them over camping on an air mattress. It was hot but the ceiling fans definitely helped. We didn't have a toaster so ended up just using the over. BBQs are small and ours definitely needed a good cleaning but did the trick for hamburgers, hotdogs and corn. We tried the restaurant one night. The pizza was decent, Cesar salad also hit the spot. We enjoyed the patio, my son was able to go play at the park while we waited for our meal. We will definitely go back!! The staff were always super friendly and helpful.
