We have been coming to this area for the past 40 years... we do like the area. This campground is a privately owned and the location is perfect. The only really downside with this hot and dry weather is that the roads in the campground were so dusty everything is dirty (cloths drying, chairs, meal time is dusty) constructive suggestion for the owners, if they could sped water of something on the roads would be so appreciated. Will we come back, of course. Hoping the owners don't increase the cost!

Camped here twice this summer - beginning (May long weekend) and end (this past weekend) of season. Nice spot with easy access to Sandbanks PP park. We spent the day on Saturday touring the area - breweries, cidery and dinner at Lake on the Mountain. We will be back next year!

Our site was shaded and mostly private however from what I could see as we drove around the campground, we would not have been happy with most other sites. Too open and close together. The other shaded sites had their fire pit located too close to the road so that if you wanted a campfire you would practically be sitting on the road. I have not encountered that before. Overall we were very very happy with our stay but with some caveats.

The location close to Outlet beach is phenomenal and the staff make the stay at the campground an absolute pleasure. So many things to enjoy for both adults and children. Can't wait to get back next summer.

Our group has been staying here for the last 8 years or so, love the location, and staff is great. Bathrooms are clean too. We're already booked for next year🙂

Not a bad campground but many sites were quite close together. Lots of beaches nearby and easy hikes with great scenery. The long straight road beside the campsite unfortunately, had a fair amount of cars speeding by significantly over the speed limit.

Honest, I was scared after I booked this camp ground due to the negative reviews. We were in spot 429, and it was great. Decent privacy, shade, close to the water. I could see how some of the camp sites lack this, though. The toilet facilities are typical out houses, not sure what people expect. They had sanitizer and toilet paper. Good enough. Showers are a bit of a distance, but all good if you plan for it. 25 minute walk to the dunes on West Beach, 15 minute walk to the Lake Ontario beach. No complaints there.

It's a quiet camp site, there is a small beach there. Unfortunately, there is no proper washroom there. You have to drive to other camp locations for proper washrooms.

Not a bad campground but not the best in the park. There are no comfort station just vaults so that may be an issue if you have kiddos.
