The owner, Will, keeps the area neat and tidy and everyone cares about making the space around their camper look tidy and attractive. This is no low end trailer park but it's not snobby either, it's the perfect mix of classy but accessible. It will be a cold day in hell before I sell the camper and leave here.

This is the worst campground in New York. If you are planning a camping trip to the figure lakes do not go here. It is a trail park. It is a trail park. Our first notice that we should not have gone there was when we book the campground and the gentleman taking our reservation did not take a deposit. He said we can pay when we get there. That was odd considering ever campground makes you put a deposit down. There was four family's in our group, so we took the four hour drive from Pennsylvania and when we arrive there was a guy cutting grass that stopped us and said " what are we doing here". We explained that we had reservations and he replied that he knew nothing about us coming. Then he said he can park us in the grass with a 110 volt extension cord to supply our trails. Keep in mind there is two 40 foot fifth wheels and two 30 foot travel trailers. At this point I would have stayed in a Wal Mart parking lot. So we all got on our phone and started looking for a new campground to travel to. We ending finding a great campground with friendly staff over by Ithaca that could accommodate us for four days. We all got into our trucks and left this horrible campground. If you want to stay in a campground from a scene in Deliverance and play a banjo then stay here. But I warned you this place is horrible. Look Else where and do not stay here!!

I'm a tent person when it comes to camping. If you're looking for a tent site you want to look elsewhere, however, their cabins are awesome. The campground has a lot of trailers and RVs. The staff were accommodating and friendly. You can see the water if you're close to the entrance or you can take a 5 min walk and get to the shoreline.

I hate to be negative at all because this place is absolutely stunning. I am a member of the Church, and this is a bad look for them, very bad. I am a member of the Church, and this is a bad look for them, very bad. However, we've had a recent weather issue where the NWS out of Buffalo issued a heat warning for several days on Friday, June 20, 2025, I had a reservation several days later. As soon as I started seeing the weather forecast changing and the temperature going into the high 90's with humidity making it feel like 103 or higher I called to see if I could cancel or reschedule, left a message, no one returned my call, I called again the next day and got the site missionary's wife and explained it was due to a medical situation that could land me in an emergency situation if I came. I was told to go through the site I booked on. I tried with zero success. I emailed the site missionary back, but there was no response. Called SLC, had no response, called back, and left another message for the site missionary who called me the day before I was to arrive at this point. I ended up losing my money because I'm not losing my life but it's utterly ridiculous to get the run around when you have literal years of medical records and pharmacy records to substantiate that you in fact should be rescheduled for a legitimate medical reasons or refunded in a heat warning issued by the NWS. This looks bad on the church as a whole when I had nonmember family coming who see this. I've been down for ladies' retreats, but this really sours me on returning. It's pretty crappy that a billion dollar corporation can't return my $25 or reschedule me to a day when there isn't a literal warning from the NWS. Shameful. My husband, who isn't a member, said it doesn't seem very Christian of them at all. Literally, I asked them if they could reschedule, and the missionary said i should just lose my money. It may not be a lot to them, but it is to me, and my birthday was ruined to boot.
